Information we collect
Free downloads do not require an account or email. When you create an account, we collect your email address, authentication records, company name, primary trade, and workspace membership. When you use Pro, we store the company details, logo, colors, defaults, document content, saved versions, export records, and related technical identifiers that you choose to provide.
When you subscribe, Stripe processes payment details and provides us with customer, Checkout, invoice, price, subscription-status, and billing-period identifiers. TradesAndForms does not receive or store your complete payment-card number.
If you request template updates, we collect your email address, trade interest, source page, optional form reference, available campaign parameters, referrer, and submission time. If you contact us, we collect the name, email, optional company, trade, subject, message, source page, and submission time you provide.
Browser drafts and service data
Unsaved editor drafts and draft logos may be stored in your browser so you can continue your work. Saved documents, brand assets, immutable versions, and generated exports are stored in our service. Removing browser data can remove an unsaved local draft; deleting a local draft does not automatically delete a saved cloud document.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate users, operate workspaces, preserve documents and versions, apply brand settings, generate private exports, provide customer support, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, secure and troubleshoot the service, measure performance, improve templates, and send updates you requested. We do not sell personal information.
Service providers and sharing
Supabase provides authentication, database, and file storage; Stripe provides Checkout, subscription billing, invoices, and the customer portal; Vercel provides hosting, performance monitoring, and analytics; and Google Analytics provides usage measurement. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
Analytics and cookies
Authentication uses cookies needed to keep you signed in. Vercel Analytics, Speed Insights, and Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies and process browser, device, referring-page, approximate-location, performance, and interaction information. Analytics never gates access to free downloads.
Retention and security
We retain account, workspace, billing, and saved-document information while your account is active and as reasonably needed for billing records, dispute handling, security, backup, and legal obligations. Update-list and contact records are retained until they are no longer operationally relevant or a deletion request is completed. We use access controls, private storage, signed export links, and service-provider safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may download every public file without submitting personal information, unsubscribe from update messages, manage subscription billing through the Stripe customer portal, and request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information by emailing privacy@tradesandforms.com. Some records may be retained where required for billing, fraud prevention, disputes, or law.
Children and changes
The service is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
