Generic documents
Every free document is a generic starting point. Requirements vary by state, city, licensing authority, permit, customer, contract, insurer, manufacturer, equipment, and site condition. A required official form controls when one applies.
Legal and payment documents
Contracts, agreements, lien waivers, payment applications, authorizations, notices, and certificates may require jurisdiction-specific language, timing, delivery, signatures, or professional review. Nothing on this site is legal advice or a guarantee of payment or enforceability.
Safety and technical documents
Safety checklists, incident records, and job hazard analysis templates do not replace required training, competent or qualified-person duties, a site-specific safety program, equipment procedures, or OSHA and local requirements. HVAC and roofing documents do not replace manufacturer instructions, technician certification, engineering judgment, code compliance, or required testing.
Insurance and warranty
An invoice, inspection report, damage report, certification, or warranty document does not guarantee insurer approval, coverage, claim payment, or manufacturer acceptance. Use the policy, carrier, contract, and manufacturer documentation that governs the work.
User responsibility
You remain responsible for verifying facts, measurements, totals, scope, qualifications, authority, signatures, attachments, retention, and compliance. Consult qualified legal, accounting, safety, engineering, insurance, code, licensing, or trade professionals when the work requires it.
